If you have an Samsung phone, pay close attention to the recommendations below:

Location errors are common occurrences with Samsung devices.

  1. Go to your phone settings > Apps > FAIRTIQ*. Make sure that Remove permissions if app is unused is disabled

  2. Go to your phone settings > Apps > FAIRTIQ* > Battery. Select Unrestricted

  3. Go to your phone settings > Device care > Battery > App power management. If FAIRTIQ is in the "sleeping apps" list, remove it. Then, add FAIRTIQ to "Apps that won't be put to sleep"

  4. Go to your phone settings > Device care > Battery > App power management > three-dot menu (top right corner) > Adaptive battery. Make sure that Adaptive battery is disabled.
    Note: if adaptive battery is enabled, FAIRTIQ will be mostly unable to use location data as soon as the app is not open on the screen anymore. The lower the battery is, the worse the GPS location quality.
