Why can I not start the check-in?

Please make sure that your smartphone is receiving mobile data and location services are turned on.

  • Maybe you were automatically connected to a public WiFi that still has to be activated (e.g. SBB-FREE, PostAuto). The quickest workaround is to either deactive WiFi or forget the connected WiFi-network.
  • If you are at a subterranean stop (e.g. Luzern, Allmend/Messe) please check-in beforehand as reception can be insufficient underground.
  • Maybe you have a VPN client active (e.g. "My Data Manager") which prevents you from using FAIRTIQ. Please make sure that your VPN client allows FAIRTIQ or otherwise deactivate it.
