You can use FAIRTIQ for journeys on all lines within the area of validity of the Karlsruher Verkehrsverbund. Not part of the area of validity are journeys in the Pforzheim-Enzkreis transport association and journeys in HNV (Heilbronner - Hohenloher - Haller Nahverkehr).
