First things first

To start a seamless FAIRTIQ journey, you need to have a valid payment method securely linked to your account.

  Without a valid payment method, you won’t be able to start your next FAIRTIQ journey.

Step-by-step

Follow these simple steps:

  1. Open the FAIRTIQ app
  2. Go to the menu ☰ and tap “Payment”
  3. Select the correct payment profile “Personal” or “Work”
  4. Tap “Add payment method”
      You can ignore expired payment methods and remove them later.
  5. Select your primary travel region
  6. Choose your preferred payment method
  7. Follow the on-screen instructions
      When adding a debit or credit card, you will be redirected to your bank for authentication (“3D Secure”).
  8. All set! Your payment method is now linked to your account.

Which payment methods are available?

To check which payment methods are available in your region, open the FAIRTIQ app > Menu ≡ > Payment > Add payment method > select your region > continue.

🇨🇭 🇱🇮 Switzerland & Liechtenstein
  • Credit or debit card (VISA or Mastercard)*
  • TWINT
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay
  • PostFinance, add as a card (use the number on the front, not the back) or TWINT

*Maestro and VPay cards cannot be used, as they do not support online payments.

  • Klarna*
  • Apple Pay*
