Children and adults can use the FAIRTIQ app to buy tickets. FAIRTIQ automatically recognises whether the children's fare (6 to 14 years) or the adult fare applies based on the date of birth entered during registration.
Children under 6 travel for free in VRB and therefore do not need to be added as “travel companions” in FAIRTIQ.
