You can use FAIRTIQ for travel on all lines within the Munich Transport and Tariff Association (MVV), including:
- Buses
- Trams
- U-Bahn
- S-Bahn
- Regional trains
However, there are some exceptions:
- FAIRTIQ does not apply to on-demand services (e.g. FLEX, RufTaxi) and the Bergbus.
- The app cannot be used on long-distance transport (e.g. ICE, IC, EC) or the Lufthansa Expressbus.
