What is this setting?
In the FAIRTIQ app under Menu > Settings > Account, you will find a toggle called:
"Help us improve journey detection"
If enabled, this setting allows us to store your tracking data (including location, motion, activity, and Bluetooth) for up to 5 years. This helps us significantly improve our journey mapping algorithms and maintain long-term stability in our services.
We may store this data for up to 5 years, solely for research and product improvement purposes.
Why should I activate it?
We understand data is personal. That’s why this setting is completely optional.
If you trust us and wish to support FAIRTIQ in improving journey detection for yourself and others, we would be grateful if you activate this option.

Yes, at any time. Simply go back to Settings > Account and switch off the toggle. Your choice is always respected.
