This article provides information on FAIRTIQ language support and its automatic language adaptation based on your smartphone settings.

How to change the language of your FAIRTIQ app

1) Default Language Settings
By default, the FAIRTIQ app uses the same language that your smartphone is set to. If your phone’s language is already set to your preferred language, the FAIRTIQ app should display text in that language automatically.

2) Changing the FAIRTIQ App Language
If you want to use a different language in the FAIRTIQ app than your smartphone’s default, you can manually set this preference. Here’s how:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Scroll down and tap on ‘FAIRTIQ’.
  3. Tap on 'Language' or ‘Preferred Language’ if available.
  4. Choose your desired language from the options provided.

  2. Navigate to 'Apps' or 'Apps & notifications'. This might be named slightly differently depending on your device.
  3. Find and select ‘FAIRTIQ’ from the list of installed apps.
  4. Tap on 'App Language' (if available) or another similar option like 'Preferences'.
  5. Select the language you wish to use from the list.

3) Restart the App
After changing the settings, make sure to close and reopen the FAIRTIQ app to apply the new language settings.

Use FAIRTIQ in Bärndütsch

FAIRTIQ was founded back in 2016 as a Bern-based start-up. Since then, our vision and technology have propelled us across Europe, reaching multiple regions spanning seven countries so far. Notes:

  • Some communication, whether in the app, via email, or customer care, will remain in Standard German.
  • To use the app in Bärndütsch, simply choose "Schwiizertüütsch" as the main language of your smartphone or as the language of the FAIRTIQ app.
  • If you do not want to use Bärndütsch, you can switch to German in your app settings.
