Summary

FAIRTIQ's "best price" feature optimizes ticket combinations, charging the best fare among available options. Your journey history show both standard and charged prices

At the end of the trip, FAIRTIQ compares every available ticket and charges you the best combination, according to the best price feature.

This is why your journey history displays two prices:

  1. the standard price: this is the normal price of the trip you did.
  2. the charged price: this is the price that FAIRTIQ charged.

Typically these prices align, however FAIRTIQ may optimize your pricing, particularly if you undertake multiple trips within a single day.
