FAIRTIQ in Baden-Württemberg
FAIRTIQ is valid on all lines (bus, tram, regional trains, regional express, and S-Bahn) across Baden-Württemberg, including the BWplus extension area. This includes the entire network areas of the transport associations in Baden-Württemberg and selected cross-border areas shown as shaded in the illustration below, with the exception of Strasbourg.
Please note: Special rules may apply to cross-border journeys. International journeys by tram and bus are currently not yet possible with FAIRTIQ. For journeys between Germany (RVL) and Basel, you can find more information under 🇩🇪🇨🇭 Travelling between Lörrach and Basel.
FAIRTIQ is generally not valid on long-distance trains (ICE, IC). However, it is valid on certain specific long-distance routes where the bw-tariff applies.
