Welcome to FAIRTIQ. Great to have you with us.

This page is your quick guide to registering with the FAIRTIQ app. Simply download the app, verify your phone number, grant permissions, input your details and payment information, customize your ticket settings, and you're all set to start using FAIRTIQ for your travel needs.

The registration process should only take you a few minutes.

1. Get the app

Download the FAIRTIQ app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. Make sure to comply with the app requirements.

2. Create an account
Enter your phone number – a unique password will be sent to you by text message.
3. Grant the required permission
FAIRTIQ uses several datapoints from your smartphone to detect and compute the right journey. No worries, your data is safe with us (learn more).

4. Set up your account & add a means of payment

Fill in the required information and add a valid means of payment. Your means of payment won't be charged. If it fails, refer to 💳 Payment card is rejected.

5. Choose your ticket settings

If you own a discount pass or a regional card (e.g. Swisspass, Bahncard), add it to your account. You can also choose your travel class. 

6. Learn more about FAIRTIQ in your region

The information on passes compatible with FAIRTIQ as well as on the area of validity of the FAIRTIQ app can be found on our website and in this help center – simply choose your region on the left.
